Our Commitment To Accessibility

Everyone should be able to use this site

VB Custom Homes, LLC wants everyone, including people who use assistive technology, to be able to learn about our homes, browse our communities, and get in touch. This statement describes what we have done, what we know still needs work, and how to reach us if something gets in your way.

Our standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, motor, and cognitive impairments.

What we have done

  • Every page has a declared language, a single main heading, a logical heading order, and a "Skip to content" link for keyboard users.
  • All images carry text alternatives, and decorative images are marked so screen readers skip them.
  • Links and buttons that show only an icon, such as the phone, email, and social links, have descriptive labels for screen readers.
  • Text and background colors meet the WCAG contrast minimum of 4.5 to 1 for body text and 3 to 1 for large headings.
  • Form fields have labels, required fields are marked, and forms can be completed with a keyboard.
  • The site is responsive, can be zoomed to 200 percent without loss of content, and works in portrait and landscape.
  • Video and map embeds have descriptive titles.

The site was audited against these criteria in September 2026 using automated testing (Google Lighthouse and axe) on every page, and the issues found were corrected.

Known limitations

  • Floor-plan PDFs. The downloadable floor plans are drawings and are not fully accessible to screen readers. Contact us and we will describe any plan or answer questions about it.
  • Photo gallery. Gallery photos use short, general descriptions. We are working on more specific descriptions of each home.
  • Third-party content. The reCAPTCHA spam check on our forms, embedded Google Maps, YouTube videos, and virtual tours are provided by other companies and may not fully meet our standard. If a form's spam check is a barrier, you can always reach us by phone or email instead.

Tell us if something is not working

If you have trouble using any part of this site, or would like information in another format, please contact us. We will do our best to provide what you need promptly and to fix the underlying problem.
